On 31 October 2026 the Bulgarian Global Kyokushin Budokai Federation sent a strong team to the Hachimen Open Cup karate tournament in Bucharest, Romania, where it delivered an outstanding performance.
More than 300 kumite competitors took part. The Bulgarian team won 32 medals in all: 11 gold, 11 silver and 10 bronze.
